A shop supply fee is a charge for small, everyday consumables not billed individually.
For example, cleaners and solvents, fluids, hardware, consumables, and waste disposal.
Why do shops charge this fee? Cost recovery and efficiency, this helps off set other costs and to keep labor and parts costs down.
Every automotive repair facility, that we know of, charges a shop supply fee, even the small businesses and corporations.
Here at Nault Auto Care, our shop supply fee is 7% and caps off at $50
Yes! Nault Auto Care LLC issues a 6 month/6,000 mile whichever comes first, on qualifying repairs and parts supplied by Nault Auto Care LLC. Customer supplied parts are not warranted. We are not responsible for defective, incorrect, incompatible, or failed customer supplied parts or any resulting labor, towing, rental, or other costs.
Warranty coverage does not include towing, rentals, shop supplies, misuse, neglect, accident, continued operation after a failure, or repairs/modifications performed by another facility. Nault Auto Care LLC is not responsible for services, repairs, or parts not performed or supplied by us. Unauthorized repairs or modifications to a warranted repair may void warranty coverage to the extent permitted by law.
